TRA VINH: CONTINUE TO START THE 2ND WIND POWER PLANT PROJECT

April 25, 2019, at Dong Hai commune, Duyen Hai district, Duyen Hai wind power company started the project of Duyen Hai wind power plant phase 1.

Board of Directors of Duyen Hai Wind Power Company Limited informed: Duyen Hai Wind Power Plant has a capacity of 48MW (including 12 wind turbines, each of 04MW turbines); using area is about 1,200ha, total investment capital is 92 million USD. Expected to be completed by the end of 2020. The implementation of Duyen Hai Wind Power Project, phase 1, aims to exploit the advantages of wind resources, create clean energy sources, reduce gas emissions, minimize environmental pollution and generate developing the type of "green tourism" to attract tourists to visit in the coastal communes of Tra Vinh in particular, of Tra Vinh in general. This is also the foundation for the tourism industry of Tra Vinh province to develop sustainably.

Rite of commencement of Duyen Hai wind power plant.

On the occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony, Duyen Hai Wind Power Co., Ltd has awarded the provincial Social Security Fund 200 million VND and donated nearly 200 gifts to policy families and families with merit in Dong Hai commune. Especially, 02 gifts were given to 02 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Dong Hai commune.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung acknowledged the positive contribution of the local people; ready to donate land and architectural objects ... to deploy the project on schedule. In the resistance, this is the base area; today in home construction, people continue to sacrifice. Therefore, in the construction process as well as after putting into operation, it is necessary to give priority to local people.
